SB Construction Group Inc. was founded on the principle of bringing integrity back into construction. Our business model is centered around helping homeowners/clients through each phase of construction. We have the knowledge, skills and resources to help with beginning questions all the way through construction management and close out procedures.
We have a strong group of architects, engineers, suppliers, builders and subcontractors that we can utilize and select to meet the particular scope of our client's projects. We strive to keep costs low by utilizing these local relationships to partner together and keep the money in the islands. This benefits each homeowner/client by hand picking needed construction disciplines based on each projects individual needs.

John Sebok (owner) has over 13 years of construction experience which includes residential / commercial and industrial POL facilities / underground utilities projects. He has a proven track record of taking ownership for all projects and responsibilities under his control. Safety and quality are the corner stone of his work ethic and practice.
John grew up in the state of Iowa and began working at the age of 14. He started his construction career drilling water wells. As time passed he moved into underground excavation mainly for residential homes. His next step took him into working his way through various parts of residential and light commercial construction. From 2001 to 2009 he honed his residential and light commercial construction skills in Hawaii as both a builder and as a manager. One common theme from employers was that John took on every task and/or project with a level of responsibility that exceeded normal expectations. In 2009, he decided to push himself to learn other facets of construction, so he would be more well rounded and educated in QC/QA (quality control/quality assurance) and safety. He spent four years learning and developing his skills with a federal contractor that taught him how to manage projects with a bigger picture in mind. In November of 2014, he decided that he needed to make another transition and began his own company SB Construction Group Inc. The goal of his company is to provide local, trustworthy and efficient project management to his clients.
His work experience will reflect local management experience in various disciplines of construction. This makes him a strong resource because he pulls from a wider experience base when addressing project coordination and troubleshooting. Also, it allows him to see projects more as a whole complete picture and mitigate potential schedule conflicts.
